Shipping and Delivery Policy

The Dough Basket can usually ship/deliver orders for Cookie Baskets and Cookie Bags on the same business day. Please place your order as early in the day as possible. If an order cannot be shipped/delivered on the same business day, it will be shipped/delivered on the next business day. Because all of our cookies and pastries are made from scratch, we reserve the right to replace unavailable items with those of equal or greater value when necessary.

Our pastries are special order and are only made when ordered. Orders for pastries will be shipped/delivered as soon as they have been prepared (usually within 1 - 3 days). King Cakes are usually baked fresh every day during Mardi Gras season, but in off-season's may not ship for 1 - 3 days from the date of order.

In Store Pickup: Anything on our website can be picked up in our Shreveport store at no additional charge.

Shipping: The Dough Basket and Creative Cakes ships all products by UPS. Some items require expedited shipping in order to ensure freshness and quality. King Cakes fall under this rule and thus have fixed shipping charges which are outlined on their product details pages. Because our Cookie Bags and Cookie Baskets require special handling, a small handling fee may be applied to the total cost of shipping.

In Town Delivery: The Dough Basket can deliver your order to a zip code local to Shreveport, LA for a $10 delivery charge. Again, orders for cookie baskets and cookie bags can usually be delivered the same business day they are ordered.

The Dough Basket and Creative Cakes makes every effort to ensure accuracy and quality. Refunds: If a refund is due, we will refund the credit card used for your purchase.
